Neil leads Net-Zero California’s Clean Power program. He is an experienced climate policy expert focused on helping California achieve its climate goals. He previously worked in California State government, launching California’s Fifth Climate Change Assessment at the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research and before that as the California Air Resource Board’s Local Government Climate Action Planning Liaison. He holds a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment and a BA from the University of Michigan. Neil lives in Sacramento with his wife and daughter where they frequent used book stores and can be found biking to parks.
